Ingredients
Ingredients of Akkara Kudineer Chooranam:
Karuvelampattai – Babbula – Acacia nilotica – 25 % – Useful in mouth ulcer. It has anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-fungal activities.
Kasukatti – Khadira – Acacia catechu – 25 %
Vettrilai – Thamboolapatra – Betel – Piper betle – 25 % – It relieves pain, inflammation and swelling.
Maruthampattai – Arjuna – Terminalia arjuna – 25 % – It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.
Uses
Indications of Akkara Kudineer Chooranam:
- Akkaram [oral ulcers]
- Ovamai vai pun [aphthous ulcer]
- Stress ulcers
- It works excellently in Marunthu vegam [mouth ulcer due to the potency of herbo mineral & mineral medicines].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Akkara Kudineer Chooranam:
- Take 5 g of the powder mix it with 300 ml of water, boil & reduce to 30 ml. and give it by addition with honey twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
