Sirungi Perathi Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is mainly used to treat gastro-intestinal disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Sirungi Perathi Chooranam:
Inji – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 40 % – It improves digestion strength and taste.
Seeragam – Jeeraka – Cumin seed – Cuminum cyminum – 20 % – It is very good in treating digestive track disorders.
Malli – Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum – 20 % – Useful in anorexia, indigestion, worm infestation, diarrhea etc.
Kadukkaithol – Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 10 %
Indhuppu – Saindhava lavana – Rock salt – Sodium chloride [impura] – 10 % – It aids in digestion by stimulating digestive fire, balances natural production of HCl, and is prescribed for digestive disorders. It improves appetite, removes intestinal and abdominal gases, cramps, and soothes heartburn.
Elumichaipala saru/juice – Nimbooka – Lemon – Citrus aurantifolia – q.s. – It promotes digestion. It relieves Ama, a product of indigestion and malabsorption.

• Mantham [loss of appetite]
• Aseeranam [indigestion]
• Vaivu [digestive disorders]
• Puli eppam [odorous belching]
• Gunmam [acid peptic disorder].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Sirungi Perathi Chooranam:
1 – 2 g with water after food 2 – 3 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
