Kshaya Kulanthaga Chendooram is a classical Siddha medicine in bhasma form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of respiratory disorders.

Ingredients
Ingredients of Kshaya Kulanthaga Chendooram:
Suddhi seidha paththra thalagam – Shuddha Harathala – Arsenic trisulphide – 14 % – It is useful in skin diseases with itching, cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, syphilis, sinus, boils etc.
Suddhi seidha pooram – Mercurous chloride – 14 %
Suddhi seidha manoseelai – Shuddha manashila – Arsenic disulphide – 14 %
Suddhi seidha kaantham/ kaantha chendooram – Shuddha kantha loha/ kantha sindoora – Magnetite ore of iron / Ferrosoferric oxide – 14 %
Suddhi seidha pravazham/ pravazha parpam – Shuddha pravala/ Pravala bhasma – Corallium rubrum – 14 % – It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders such as nasal bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, menorrhagia etc.
Suddhi seidha kalnaar/ seemai kalnaar parpam – Kausheyashma – Satin spar/ ore of asbestos – 14 %
Suddhi seidha thangam/ thanga parpam – Shuddha swarna/ Swarna bhasma – Elemental gold – 14 % – It is used in treatment of Malabsorption syndrome, Dyspepsia, Hiccup, Anaemia, Dyspnoea, Asthma, Fever, Tissue wasting, Tuberculosis etc.
Suddhi seidha lingam – Shuddha Hingula – Mercuric sulphide – 14 %
Suddhi seidha gandhakam – Shuddha gandhaka – Elemental Sulphur – 14 %
Erukkanpaal/ anda erukkan jayaneer – Arka ksheera – Calotropis gigantean – q.s.
Alam elai pazhuppu – Vatapatra swarasa – Ficus bengalensis – q.s.
Kumari saaru – Kumari swarasa – Aloe barbadensis – q.s. – Useful in treatment of asthma and chronic respiratory disorders.
Murukkampoo saaru – Shigru pushpa swarasa – Moringa oleifera -q.s.
Uses
Indication of Kshaya Kulanthaga Chendooram:
- All diseases of the respiratory system including kshayam [tuberculosis/ emaciation]
- Kasam/ irumal [cough/ bronchitis]
- Iraippu/ izhuppu [spasm/ wheezing]
- Diseases due to derangement of kaba noigal [kaba dosham] etc.
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Kshaya Kulanthaga Chendooram:
50 – 100 mg twice a day with honey or Thirikatu Chooranam for 10 days.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Diet
Pathya:- Avoid salt, tamarind, sour diet, alcohol, pagal [bitter gourd], agathi [sasban], non-veg foods & tobacco.
