Ingredients of Nadi Kashayam:
Each 12.5 ml is prepared out of:
Aashalika – Flax seed – Linum usitatissimum – 0.534 g – Useful in treating disorders of Vata Dosha imbalance such as neuralgia, paralysis, constipation, bloating, etc.
Rasna – Alpinia galanga – 0.534 g – It is a herb mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of pain, indigestion, gout, cough and general debility.
Ajamoda – Trachyspermum ammi – 0.534 g
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 0.534 g – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 0.534 g
Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 0.534 g – It improves strength and immunity.
Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 0.534 g – It cleanses and detoxifies uterus. Hence it is widely used in post partum care of the mother.
Bakuchi – Psoralea corylifolia – 0.534 g
Shati – Curcuma zedoaria – 0.534 g
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 0.534 g
Krishna Jeeraka – Black cumin – Carum bulbocastrum – 0.534 g

Patala – Stereospermum suaveolens – 0.534 g – It is used for neuro-protective and hepato-protective benefits.

Brihati – Solanum indicum – 0.534 g – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Brihati bheda – 0.534 g
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 0.534 g
Hribera – Pavonia odorata – 0.534 g
Bhunimba – Andrographis paniculata – 0.534 g – It is an Ayurvedic herb, used for the treatment of diseases of the liver, skin diseases, lack of appetite, fever and purification of the blood.
Duralabha – Fagonia cretica – 0.534 g
Bala – Country mallow – Sida cordifolia – 0.534 g – Natural aphrodisiac, improves strength and immunity.
Shalaparni – Desmodium gangeticum – 0.534 g
Prishniparni – Uraria picta – 0.534 g – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides – 0.534 g – It is widely used in treating fever, dysuria, burning sensation, fatigue syndrome, skin disorders etc.
Rakta chandana – Red sandal wood – Pterocarpus santalinus – 0.534 g
Indications
Indications of Nadi Kashaya:
Vata vyadhi – disorders due to vitiated vata dosha, especially those affecting the nerves.
Balya – provides strength.
Vajikarana – aphrodisiac.
Suthika pariraksha – post natal care.
It is useful to promote strength of
bones and joints.
It acts as an excellent anti inflammatory and
analgesic medicine.
It is used for the treatment of ankle pain, ankle twitch, slipped disc, sprain, back spasm, backache, back injury, stiffness of muscles, Coccyx pain
Partially useful in (other medications might be required)
Avascular necrosis
Sensory-neural hearing loss
Hypothyroidism
Ankylosing spondylitis
Pain related to SLE
Diet
Avoid deep fried foods, heavy-to-digest non veg foods, fast foods and aerated drinks, smoking and excess alcohol. These can irritate stomach and intestinal lining. These also may increase Tridosha.
Dose, duration of use
Dose:
12.5 ml twice daily, with three times as much lukewarm water, one hour before food.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
