Suhasini Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Virgo UAP Pharma Pvt. Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Menorrhagia.

Suhasini Syrup Ingredients

Each 15 ml contains
Extract of Ashoka – Saraca asoca – 500 mg – Used mainly in bleeding gynecological conditions.
Udumbar – Ficus glomerata – 500 mg – Being astringent herb, it brings about blocking effect (Stambhana).
Manjishta – Indian madder – Rubia cordifolia – 200 mg – It is a well known blood detoxifying herb.
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa Roxb – 200 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as menorrhagia etc.
Molasari – Selinum candollei – 200 mg
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 50 mg – It improves nourishment, strength and immunity.
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 50 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders such as menorrhagia etc. and improves nourishment.
Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – 50 mg
Vasa – Malabarnut – Adhatoda vasica – 50 mg – Detoxifies blood and useful in bleeding disorders.
Darbha mool – Imperata cylindrica – 50 mg
Kamal phool – Lotus flower – Nelumbo nucifera – 20 mg – Useful in bleeding disorders.
Gokshur – Tribulus – Tribulus terrestris – 20 mg – It improves strength, nourishes the body and has anti-inflammatory property.
Bilva – Bael – Aegle marmelos – 20 mg
Palashpushpa – Butea monosperma – 20 mg
Nagarmotha – Cyperus rotundus – 20 mg – Useful in blood disorders.
Bala – Country mallow – Sida cordifolia – 20 mg – Improves strength and relieves bleeding disorders.
Colour Sunset Yellow FCF and Tartrazine – Q.S.
Flavoured Syrup Base – Q.S.

Indications

Menorrhagia,
metrorrhagia,
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding,
Premenstrual and Menopausal syndrome,
Habitual Abortion,
Leucorrhoea,
Weakness.

Dosage

10 to 15 ml 2 – 3 times day,
Or as directed by the Physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Suhasini Syrup Side effects


There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.          
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
