Stonvil Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by SG Phyto Pharma Pvt Ltd. It is used in the treatment of Renal and Ureteric Calculi.
Stonvil Syrup Ingredients
each 5 ml contains:
Vayvarna – Crataeva adansonii – 100 mg – Reduces urinary calcium secretion. Has stone inhibiting action.
Punarnava – Spreadding hogweed – Boerhavia diffusa – 60 mg – It is an excellent diuretic herb, useful in urinary retention and has anti-inflammatory activity.
Gokharu – Tribulus – Tribulus terrestris – 60 mg – Effective for gram +ve and gram -VE spectrum. Lowers hyper-oxaluria.
Aghada Panchang – Apamarga – Achyranthes aspera – 100 mg – Alkalizer, used in renal dropsy.
Pashanbhed – Bergenia ligulata – 100 mg – Disintegrates calculi and cleanses urinary bladder.
Nagarmotha – Cyperus scariosus – 50 mg – It is useful in urinary tract infection, dysuria and vaginal white discharge.
Dhamasa – Duralabha – Fagonia cretica – 100 mg – Useful in urinary tract disorders and has anti-inflammatory activity.
Indications
UTI,
Burning Micturition,
Renal and Ureteric Calculi.
Dosage
Adults: 1 tsp 3 times a day,
Children: ½ tsp 2 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
