Speman Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by The Himalaya Drug Company. It is used in the treatment of Oligospermia.
Speman Tablet Ingredients
- Vriddhadaru – Argyreia speciosa – 64 mg – It improves sperm and semen quality and quantity.
- Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris – 64 mg – It promote sperm production and ovulation. It does increase libido in both men and women.
- Jeevanti – Leptadenia reticulata – 64 mg – It improves strength and immunity.
- Shaileya – Parmelia perlata – 32 mg – It has astringent, bitter, acrid, cooling, anti-inflammatory and aphrodisiac properties.
- Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 130 mg – It balances Tridosha, improves strength, immunity, sexual performance, useful in premature ejaculation and in some cases of erectile dysfunction.
- Kokilaksha – Asteracantha longifolia – 64 mg – Acts as aphrodisiac, improves vigor.
- Vanya Kahu – Lactuca serriola – 32 mg – It soothes the nervous system, promotes relaxation, and may aid with sleep issues
- Kapikachu – Mucuna pruriens – 32 mg – Aphrodisiac, nutritive and useful in neurological diseases.
- Svarnavanga – It is an Ayurvedic medicine, with herbal and mineral ingredients, which is usedin male infertility treatments, enhancing sexual vitality – 32 mg
Indication
Oligospermia
Dosage
Initially, 2 tablets twice daily, followed by 1 tablet twice daily.
Duration of treatment may vary from 4 to 6 months.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
