Purim Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by The Himalaya Drug Company. Purim helps to maintain skin health through broad and systemic blood purification.
Indication of Purim Tablet
Acute and chronic dermatitis.
Urticaria.
Cutaneous manifestations of worm infestations.
Acne vulgaris and rosacea.
Dosage
1 to 2 tablets twice daily for 4 to 6 weeks, or till symptoms are relieved.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Haridra – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – 36 mg – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and anti-allergic properties.
Aragvadha – Cassia fistula – 36 mg – It has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal activities.
Bakuchi – Psoralea corylifolia – 36 mg – It is an Ayurvedic herb, very well known for its efficacy against skin diseases including leucoderma.
Kushta – Saussurea lappa – 36 mg – Useful in skin diseases.
Katuka – Picrorhiza kurroa – 36 mg – It has anti-bacterial activity.
Extracts of –
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 32 mg – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial activities. It helps to cleanse and heal wound quickly.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 32 mg – It has immuno-modulatory activity.
Varuna – Crataeva nurvala – 32 mg
Triphala – Emblica officinalis,Terminalia chebula,Terminalia bellirica – 31 mg
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 31 mg – It has wound healing action and useful in infective skin diseases.
Bringaraja – False daisy – Eclipta alba – 31 mg – It detoxifies the blood and useful in skin diseases.
Kalamegha – Andrographis paniculata – 31 mg – It has anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial properties.

Kumari – Aloe vera – Aloe barbadensis – It offers anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-oxidant, humectant and soothing, anti-itch qualities for skin.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia
Karavellaka – Bitter gourd – Momordica charantia – It acts as blood purifier and useful in skin diseases.
Trapusha – Cucumber – Cucumis sativus – Soothes, moisturizes skin and relieves burning sensation of skin. It decreases inflammation and irritation.
Side effects of Purim Tablet
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
