Neurocare Capsule: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Pentacare Ayur Pharma. It is used in the treatment of neuro-musculo-skeletal disorders.

Indication of Neurocare Capsule

Arthritis
Osteoarthritis
Lumbago
Sprains
Neuro-muscular pain
Low back pain
Sciatica
Spondylitis
Fractures
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Bursitis,  
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
It is useful in post herpetic neuralgia

Dosage

1 – 2 capsules twice or thrice a day. Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Each 500 mg of capsule contains fortified extracts of –
Tila taila – Sesame oil – Sesamum indicum – 500 mg
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 500 mg – Useful in neurological and neuro-muscular diseases.
Shatavari – Buttermilk root – Asparagus racemosus – 500 mg – It is very good nervine tonic and improves nourishment.
Erandamoola – Castor root – Ricinus communis – 500 mg – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Bala – Countrymallow – Sida cordifolia – 2 g – It improves strength of the bones, joints and muscles.
Rasna – Pluchea lanceolata – 500 mg – It has anti-inflammatory activity. Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 50 mg – Useful in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
Ksheera – Milk – 1 ml – It is a rich source of calcium.

Triphala – Embelica officinalis, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia belelrica Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – Useful in relieving pain and swelling. Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – It is a well known immuno-modulator herb used in the correction of autoimmunity.
Guggulu – Indian bedellium – Commiphora mukul – It is a potent anti-inflammatory herb, so it is helpful to relieve pain in the joints, muscles, bones and ligaments.
Shallaki – Boswellia serrata – It has anti-inflammatory action.
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris

Side effects of Neurocare Capsule

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children. Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
