Memogold Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Memogold Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Agrigold Group of Industries. It is a brain tonic and is used in the treatment of mental disorders.

Indication

Poor memory
Poor grasping & low learning
Lack of concentration
Cerebral fatigue
Forgetfulness
Low intellect
Mental retardation

Dosage

5 – 10 ml at bed time,
or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Diet to follow

Have more of Flax seeds, ghee, coconut oil, sesame oil, sesame seeds, walnut, sardines, salmon, soyabean, shrimp, brussel sprout, cauliflower, winter squash, fish oil, egg oil, krill oil, chia seeds, camelia
There are no diet restrictions. Please avoid all types of junk foods and Sodas. Please prefer homemade food wherever possible.

Brahmi  – Bacopa monnieri – 14.09 g
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 10.5 g – It improves strength and immunity.
Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 7.0 g – It has anti-depressant compounds and helps in warding off depression.
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 7.0 g
Chandana – Sandal wood – Santalum album – 7.0 g – It balances Pitta Dosha.
Mishreya – Fennel seed – Foeniculum vulgare – 7.0 g – It improves strength and immunity.
Sarshapa – Mustard – Brassica juncea – 3.5 g – Useful in psychiatric disorders.
Draksha – Grape – Vitis vinifera –  7.0 g –
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 7.0 g – It expels doshas out of the body from head.

Side effects of Memogold Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.      
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
