Manoll Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharma Pvt. Ltd. It is a natural anti-oxidant and immunity booster.

Dosage

Adults – 1 – 2 tsp – 15 ml twice a day.
Children – 1 tsp – 5 ml twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice. 

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients

Each 25 g of malt contains –
Talisa patra – Abies webbiana – 10 mg
Nagakeshara – Cobra’s saffron – Mesua ferrea – 10 mg
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 10 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Tamala patra – Indian bay leaf – Cinnamomum tamala – 10 mg – It has anti-depressant, anti-microbial and anti-ulcer activities.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 10 mg – It improves digestion strength and taste.
Teja patra – Cinnamomum vera – 20 mg
Khapat – Atibala – Abutilon indicum – 20 mg – It improves strength and immunity and has anti-oxidant property.
Vasa – Malabar nut – Adathoda vasica – 20 mg – It has anti-oxidant and anti-microbial activities.
Satodi – Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – 20 mg – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 40 mg – It improves strength and immunity.
Shatavari – Buttermilk root – Asparagus racemosus – 40 mg – Because of nutritive properties, coolant nature, anti aging effect, Shatavari makes an excellent gym supplement.
Shankha vati – Ayurvedic medicine – 55 mg
Astavarga – group of 8 herbs – 80 mg
Brahmi – Bacopa monnieri – 12.50 mg – It is an excellent anti aging, anti diabetic and anti oxidant herb.
Shilajitu – Asphaltum – 12.50 mg – From body building, to treating disorders such as diabetes, asthma etc, shilajat is very commonly used.
Vanga bhasma – Tin calx – 12.50 mg – Improves taste, skin complexion and intelligence, strength and immunity.
Lauha bhasma – Iron Calx – 12.50 mg – It improves strength, immunity, skin texture, complexion, memory, intelligence, digestive power and acts as natural aphrodisiac.
Kapikacchu – Mucuna puriens – 10 mg – It improves strength and immunity.
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 7.00 mg
Madhu – Honey – 4.70 mg
Surja – Lepidagathis cristata – 16.900 mg

Side effects of Manoll Syrup

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
