Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Jupiter Pharmaceuticals Ltd. It is a pediatric preparation used in the treatment of indigestion and acid eructation in babies.
Indication of Livosin Syrup
Indigestion
Anorexia
Acid eructation
Hyper acidity
Gastritis
Dosage
Adults – 4 tsp twice a day with water.
Children – 2 tsp twice a day with water. Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each 5 ml of syrup contains –
Kalamegha – Andrographis paniculata – 50 mg – It has hepato-protective action.
Kupilu – Strychnos nuxvomica – 50 mg
Bringaraja – False daisy – Eclipta alba – 50 mg – Useful in anemia, early stage of liver diseases. It stimulates liver.
Ajamoda – Ptychotis ajowan – 50 mg
Mentha viridian – 50 mg
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 50 mg – It improves digestion strength. Swarnapatri – Indian senna – Cassia angustifolia – 50 mg
Ananthamoola – Hemidesmus indicus – Indian sarsaparilla – 25 mg – It is widely used in the treatment of oligospermia, gastritis, anorexia, menorrhagia etc.
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 25 mg – Balances Vata, Pitta and kapha Doshas.
Kutaja – Holarrhena antidysenterica – 25 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 3 mg
