Livon-DS Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Tulsi Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd. It is a liver protective medicine used in the treatment of liver disorders.

Infective hepatitis
Enlarged liver
Anorexia
Anti-tubercular therapy
Dosage
1 capsule 2 – 3 times a day, or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 50 mg – It is used in the treatment of Vitiligo, jaundice, hepatitis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Kasni – Blue daisy – Cichorium intybus – 50 mg
Daruharidra – Indian berberi – Berberis aristata – 50 mg – It has anti-microbial activity.
Bhumyamalaki – Phyllanthus niruri – 50 mg – It is an important liver protecting Ayurvedic herb.
Bringaraja – False daisy – Eclipta alba – 30 mg – It is an important Ayurveda herb, widely used in hair fall treatment, liver disorders, skin diseases etc. Punarnava – Spreading hogweed – Boerhavia diffusa – 30 mg
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – 30 mg
Dugdha pheni – Taraxacum officinale – 30 mg
Kakamachi – Black nightshade – Solanum nigrum – 20 mg – It is an Ayurvedic plant used for treating fever, opium poisoning, splenomegaly, diseases of the liver.
Rohitaka – Tecomella undulata – 20 mg – Useful in liver disorders.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longm – 20 mg
Chitraka – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 20 mg – It improves digestion strength.
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 20 mg
Bhunimba – Andrographis paniculata – 20 mg – used for the treatment of diseases of the liver, skin diseases, lack of appetite, fever and purification of the blood.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 20 mg – Useful in treatment of jaundice and related diseases of liver.
Mandura bhasma – Iron oxide calx – 10 mg – It is used in treatment of Anemia, Jaundice, anorexia, inflammatory conditions, injuries.
Shankha bhasma – Conch shell calx – 10 mg
Side effects of Livon-DS Capsule
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
