Liv-52 DS is a double strength hepato-specific formulation, designed for the treatment and management of liver disorders.
Indication of Liv-52 DS Tablet
For the prevention & treatment of viral hepatitis,
alcoholic liver disease,
pre-cirrhotic conditions, early cirrhosis,
anorexia, loss of appetite and liver damage due to radiation therapy.
Liver disorders including fatty liver associated with protein-energy malnutrition.
Jaundice and loss of appetite during pregnancy.
As an adjuvant during prolonged illness and convalescence.
As an adjuvant to haemodialysis.
As an adjuvant to hepato-toxic drugs like – anti-tubercular drugs, statins, chemotherapeutic agents and anti-retrovirals.

Mode of action
Hepato-protective.
Promotes hepato-cellular regeneration.
Arrests the progress of cirrhosis & prevents the further damage.
Improves appetite, digestion and assimilation process & promotes weight gain.
Dosage
Children – 1 tablet twice or thrice a day after meals.
Adults – 1 – 2 tablets twice or thrice a day after meals.
Maximum possible daily dosage is 6 tablets per day.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Mandura bhasma – Iron oxide – 66 mg – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of anemia, jaundice, inflammation etc.
Kakamachi – Solanum nigrum – 64 mg – It induces mobility, causes diarrhea, purgation, relieves constipation.
Arjuna – Terminalia arjuna – 64 mg – It is anti oxidant, reduces cholesterol, reduces BP and useful in diabetes.
Kasamarda – Coffee senna – Cassia occidentalis – 32 mg
Biranjasipha – Achillea mellifolium – 32 mg
Jhavuka – Tamarix gallica – 32 mg

Side effects of Liv-52 DS Tablet
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
