The medicine has galactogogue effect. The medicine is also useful for women who suffer from habitual abortion. Leptaden does not pose any health risk to developing baby.
Leptaden stimulates, stabilizes, improves the quantity of breast milk and improves & maintains the quality of breast milk.

Leptaden inhibits bio-synthesis of PGF2 by uterine tissues.

Indication
High risk pregnancies.
Stimulates, stabilizes & improves the quantity of breast milk and improves and maintains the quality of breast milk.
Dosage
2 tablets thrice a day after delivery for 4 weeks.
In habitual abortions – Preconception treatment – 2 tablets thrice a day continuously for 3 months, even during menses.
After this, once pregnancy is suspected 2 tablets thrice a day throughout pregnancy.
In threatened abortions – start 2 tablets thrice a day at the earliest & continue throughout pregnancy.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
