Iobine Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by J & J Dechane Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. It is used for the treatment of common cold and allergies.
Iobine is a combination of Ayurvedic drugs for fortifying the body against frequent attacks of common cold.
Ingredients of Iobine Tablet:
Each uncoated tablet contains –
Brahmi – Bacopa monnieri – 44 mg – It is useful in skin diseases, ulcerations and as tonics.
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata – 44 mg – It is tonic, stomachic and febrifuge.
Anantamoola – Indian sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 155 mg – It is an alternative, tonic and used in skin diseases, ulcerations and as an antioxidant.
Gandhaka – Sulphur – 8 mg – It is a stimulant to the skin and bronchial mucous membranes.
Panvar – Lawsonia alba – 11 mg – It is an astringent and is used in obstinate skin diseases.
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 22 mg – It is anthelmintic, anti-septic, astringent and tonic.
Arka – Crown flower – Calotropis gigantea – 62 mg – It is anti-spasmodic, expectorant and tonic.
Indication of Iobine Tablet:
Frequent attack of cold
In general debility following chronic illness
Can be combined with Albo-Sang.
Dosage of Iobine Tablet:
Adults – 1 tablet thrice a day.
Children – ½ tablet thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects of Iobine Tablet:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
