Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Pentacare Pharma Ltd. It is a pure herbal capsule for the treatment of HIV/AIDS.

Dosage

1 – 2 capsules twice or thrice a day.
1 capsule thrice a day for patient with very weak health i.e., last stage of AIDS.
1 capsule twice a day for all other patients.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Precaution

Patient should avoid sexual intercourse during the treatment period. Should monitor weight, Hb, CD4 count every 15^thday.
Maintain temperature record from day one.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Rudravanthi – Cressa critica – 20 mg – It has anti-bacterial, bronchodilatory, anti-tussive and anti-inflammatory properties.
Jivanti – Leptadenia reticulata – 20 mg – It has anti-oxidant and anti-fungal activities.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 20 mg – It is a well known immuno-modulator herb used in the correction of auto-immunity. 
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 20 mg – used in treating mainly chronic fever, skin disorders and diabetes.
Swetamusali – Asparagus adscendens – 20 mg
Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 20 mg
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris – 20 mg
Latakaranja – Caesalpinia crista – 20 mg – Useful in skin diseases.
Shatavari – Buttermilk root – Asparagus racemosus – 20 mg – It improves immunity and strength.
Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 20 mg
Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata – 20 mg – used mainly in the treatment of infectious and inflammatory conditions like fever, skin diseases etc. Mudgaparni – Phaseolus trilobus – 20 mg
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 20 mg

Side effects of Immunup Capsule

There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.          
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

Habit forming

Is this medicine habit forming? Does it create dependence? Can we stop it after a few months of usage?
This medicine is not habit forming. After using for the prescribed period, your doctor would gradually decrease the dose and eventually stop it. Follow your doctor’s instructions for gradual decrease of dose and stopping. Usually it does not cause any ill effects.
