Tuvaraka Lepam Ingredients, Dose, Uses, Side effects

Tuvaraka Lepam is a classical Ayurveda medicine in powder form. It is used in treating scabies, ringworm and other skin disorders.

Indication of Thuvaraka Lepam

Pama – Scabies
Dadru – Ringworm
Kusta – Skin diseases

Direction for use

It is to be appllied over the affected part by making a paste with gomutra (cows urine) or thakra (butter milk). Or as directed by a physician.

Ingredients

Tuvaraka bijamajja – Hydnocarpus laurifolia – It is mainly used in the skin diseases.
Tuvaraka taila – Hydnocarpus laurifolia

Side effects of Tuvaraka Lepam

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. Should be applied only after the earlier lepa is been removed off. Lepa should be removed as soon as it gets dried.

Shelf life: 4 years from the date of manufacture, once it is opened it should be used within 2 – 4 months.
