Bhasma is a classical Ayurveda rasa preparation. It is used in the treatment of napunsakatha [male infertility], Cardiac diseases etc.
Indication of Manikya Bhasma
Napumsakatha [Male infertility]
Dhathuksheenatha [Azospermia]
Hridaya roga [Cardiac diseases]
It acts as a nervine tonic.
Indicated in general debility & weakness of heart.
Dosage & Adjuvants
62.5 – 125 mg twice daily with milk or honey or butter or sugar candy.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Ingredients
Manikya – Ruby Haratala – Arsenic trioxide
Manashila – Arsenic disulphide – It has aphrodisiac, rejuvenate properties. Gandhaka – Elemental sulphur – It is used in the treatment of diseases due to Vata Dosha.
Nimburasa – Lemon juice – Citrus aurantifolia – Regular use of lemon in diet helps to decrease cholesterol deposition in blood vessels. Hence it lowers the risk of heart diseases.
Amalaki – Indian gooseberry – Embelica officinalis – It has Vrushya (aphrodisiac), Rasayana (anti-aging), Hrudya (good for heart) properties. Chandana arka – Sandal wood – Santalum album – It acts as aphrodisiac.

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
