Mahapaityantaka Rasa is a classical Ayurveda medicine in bhasma form. It is used in the treatment of jaundice, nausea, pitta related disorders.
Ingredients of Mahapaityantaka Rasa:
Shukti bhasma – clax of oyster shell – It relieves abdominal colic, gastritis, hyperacidity etc.
Abhraka bhasma – clax of mica – It is used in the treatment of digestive impairment, malabsorption syndrome, fever etc.
Vaikrantha bhasma – calcium fluoride – It improves digestion power and skin complexion.
Kantha loha bhasma – clax of magnetite ore of iron
Pravala bhasma – clax of coral – It improves digestion power, vision power, immunity and skin complexion.
Hema (Swarna) makshika bhasma – Copper and Iron Pyrite
Vanga bhasma – clax of tin – It is coolant in nature and improves taste, skin complexion.
Rasa sindura – It is an Ayurvedic medicine, with herbal and mineral ingredients, in powder / tablet form.
Tankana – borax – It improves digestion power.
Karpasa bija – Cotton seed – Gossypeum herbaceum
Guduchi satva – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Hingula – Cinnabar – It is used in the jaundice and other liver disorders.
Indication of Mahapaityantaka Rasa:
Pittaja jwara – fever due to pitta origin
Kamala – jaundice
Hrillasa – nausea.
Dosage & Adjuvants of Mahapaityantaka Rasa:
125 mg twice daily with sugar or water for 20 days.
Or as directed by a physician.
