Kaivisa Parihari Pills Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Parihari Pills is a classical Ayurveda medicine in tablet form. It is used in the treatment of gara visha (diseases caused by minute poisons unknowingly taken with food, cakes, meats, etc.).

Indication of Kaivisha Parihari Pills

Garavisha – diseases caused by minute poisons unknowingly taken with food, cakes, meats, etc.

Dose, Anupana

Dose
1 tablet twice a day or as directed by the physician.

Anupana
Basil juice or Turmeric juice or Cows Ghee.

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Direction for use

Administering the pill must be preceded by vamana & virechana.
For vamana- pill is rubbed into decoction of 30 g of Vacha in 450 ml of water boiled down to a fourth.
Virechana should be done on the 3rd day. For this a pill in a decoction of 28 g of Sweta aparajita moola & 14 g of resin & Haritaki without seeds in 900 ml of water boiled down to a fourth. After this a pill per day must be continued for 41 days.
If vamana & virechana are not essential, a pill may be given morning & evening rubbed in water, thulasi swarasa, mahakalyanaka ghritha, ghritha or milk.

Murva – Argyreia nervosa – Elephant creeper
Patola – Trichosanthes dioica – Pointed Gourd – It purifies blood.
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – Nut grass – It is digestive and improves digestion strength.
Amrita – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia
Chavya – Java
long pepper – Piper chaba
Vidanga – Embelia ribes – It has antihelmintic activity. And expells the Doshas out of the body from head (Shirovirechana).
Nata – Tagara – Valeriana wallichii
Chitraka – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – It has carminative, digestive, and scraping properties.
Kana – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum
Vala – Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides – It has anti-toxic (Vishahara)properties. Swarnamakshika – Copper and Iron Pyrite Calx
Swarna – Gold Calx – Long term use of Swarna bhasma under strict medical supervision, the poison can not do any harm.

Side effects of Kaivisha Parihari Pills

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
