Sri Sri Tattva Vedanantaka Vati Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Sri Sri Tattva Vedanantaka Vati is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sri Sri Tattva Company. It is used in the treatment of all kinds of body aches, gout etc.

Benefits and Dosage

Indication:
Pain due to Vata dosha,
Inflammation due to Raktha and Pitta,
Body pain,
Gout.

Dose:
1 tablet thrice a day before food
or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to take?
This medicine is usually prescribed for a period of 1 – 2 months time.

Rasna – Pluchea lanceolata – 38.5 mg – It has anti-inflammatory action and is used in gout.
Eranda moola – Ricinus communis – Castor root – 38.5 mg – Used in inflammation, Rheumatoid arthritis.
Bala – Sida cordifolia – Country mallow – 38.5 mg – Improves the strength of bone, muscles, and joints.
Araghvada – Cassia fistula – Purging cassia – 38.5 mg – It has mild purgation action and detoxifies the digestive tract.
Vasa – Adhatoda vasica – Malabar nut – 38.5 mg
Amritha – Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – Giloy – 38.5 mg – It is a well-known immunomodulator herb used in the correction of autoimmunity.
Devadaru – Cedrus deodara – Himalayan cedar – 38.5 mg – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
Ativisha – Aconitum heterophylum – Indian atees – 38.5 mg
Mustha – Cyperus rotundus – Nut grass – 38.5 mg
Sati – kaempferia galanga – 38.5 mg
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – Ginger – 38.5 mg – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Nirgundi – Vitex negundo – 19.25 mg – It is a very good muscle relaxant, pain relieving herb.
Shallaki – Boswellia serrata – 19.25 mg – It is mainly used in osteoarthritis and muscular pains.
Sahachara – Barleria prionitis – 19.25 mg
Satavari – Asparagus racemosus – Butter milk root – 19.25 mg

Side effects and Precaution


There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.                                                                           
Seek your doctor’s advice for its use during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during the lactation period and in children for a limited period of a few weeks time for side effects and precautions.
