Sri Sri Tattva Liv on Tablet Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side effects

Sri Sri Tattva Liv-on Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Sri Sri Tattva Company. It is used in the treatment of indigestion, loss of appetite, jaundice and other liver disorders.

Dose, Anupana

Dose: 1 tablet before food
or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician.

Anupana: Water

How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with a gradual decrease in dosage.

Ingredients of Liv-on Tablets

Bhumyamalaki – Phyllanthus niruri – 50 mg – It has anti-spasmodic, appetizer, hepato-protective and laxative properties.
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – Yellow gentian – 55 mg – it improves digestion, metabolsm and acts as a liver stimulant.
Bhunimba – Andrographis paniculata – 50 mg – It has hepato-protective action.
Sharapunkha – Tephrosia purpurea – 50 mg – Study conducted on Sharapunkha as anti-helicobacter pylori agent.
Patola – Pointed Gourd – Trichosanthes dioica – 30 mg – improves digestion strength and taste.
Punarnava – Spreading Hogweed – Boerhavia diffusa – 30 mg
Chitraka – Leadwort – Plumbago zeylanica – 30 mg – it has digestive, absorbent, hepato-protective properties.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 30 mg
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 25 mg
Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 25 mg
Dhanyaka – Coriandrum sativum – 25 mg
Bhringaraj – Eclipta alba – False daisy – 25 mg – It has hepato-protective action.
Methica – Trigonella foenum graecum – Fennel – 20 mg
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus – 20 mg – It is digestive and improves digestion strength.
Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes – 20 mg
Vacha – Sweet flag (rhizome) – Acorus calamus – 20 mg

With Other Medicines

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Liv-on Tablets

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is best avoided during pregnancy.
It can be used during the lactation period.
