Lama Diabihar Granules Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Lama Diabihar Granules is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Lama pharmaceuticals. It is mainly used in the diabetes and other allied complications.

Uses and dose

Lama Diabihar Granules Indication:  diabetes and other allied complication.

Dosage: 5 grams (1 teaspoonful) twice a day with water before lunch and dinner as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Duration

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Lama Diabihar Granules Indications:
Each 100 grams contains:
Gurmar Patti -Gymnema sylvestre – 20 grams
Jamunguthi – Bellis perennis – 8 grams
Karela – Momordica charantia – 5 grams – Useful for the treatment of diabetes, intestinal worms, sin disease, wounds and acts as blood purifier.
Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia Wall. ex -10 grams – It is famous Ayurvedic herb, used extensively in treatment for fever, diabetes, urinary tract disorders, anemia, jaundice, asthma, cardiac disorders etc.
Kattha – Senegalia catechu – 5 grams
Haladi – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – 5 grams
Amla – Phyllanthus emblica – 5 grams
Vijay Sar  – Pterocarpus marsupium – 5 grams – Best ayurvedic herb  used in diabetes, obesity, diarrhea, vitiligo, psoriasis etc
Amla – Tejpatta – emblica officinalis – 5 grams
Gularpati churna – 4 grams
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 4 grams – It is extensively used to normalize high blood sugar level, liver enzymes and high cholesterol level.
Chitrak mool – Plumbago zeylanica – 4 grams
Methi – Trigonella foenum-graecum -3 grams
Sudh Silajit – 5 grams
Tribanga bhasma – 2 grams – It is an Ayurvedic medicine with herbal and metallic ingredients, used in treatment of diabetes, urinary tract diseases etc
Neem Patta churna – Neem leaves –  5 grams
Water extracts from -5 grams
Gular Patti – 47.5 grams
Neem patta – Neem leaves – 47.5 grams
Excipients (Gumacacia Talc) q.s

Side effects

Lama Diabihar Granules Side effects:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
