Hemopurine Tonic Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

Hemopurine Tonic is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Lama Pharmaceuticals. It is mainly used to treat constipation and indigestion.

Uses and dose

Hemopurine Tonic Indications:
constipation, indigestion,  acne vulgaris, boils, blemishes, improves complexion

Dosage: 2 teaspoonful-10 ml twice a day or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Anant mool – Hemidesmus indicus – 1.25 mg
Senaipatti – Cassia Angustifolia – 200 mg
Sital chini – Piper cubeba – 100 mg –  It is the best Ayurvedic herb effectively used in indigestion, bloating etc
Nishoth – Operculia turpethum -100 mg
Haritaki -Terminalia chebula – 100 mg
Amalatas – Cassis fistula – 100 mg
Kalmegh – Andrographis paniculata-A.S – 40 mg
Chitraita – Swertia chirata – 40 mg
Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 40 mg
Neem chhal – Azadirachta indica – 40 mg
Chop chini – Smilax china – 40 mg
Gorkmundi – Sphaeranthus indicus – 40 mg
Manjit – Rubia cordifolia – 40 mg – It is the  best Ayurvedic herb widely used to improve skin complexion, blemishes and other skin related diseases.
Daru haldi – Berberis aristata – 40 mg
Khadir sar – Acacia catechu – 40 mg
Kanchanar chall – bauhinia variegate – 40 mg
Haldi – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – 40 mg
Lal chandan – Red sandalwood – Pterocarpus santalinus – 40 mg
Usba – Smilax ornate – 40 mg

Duration

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Side effects

Hemopurine Tonic Side effects:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
People with diabetes should avoid this medicine as it contains sugar.
