BGR 34 Tablet Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side Effects

BGR 34 Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Aimil Pharmaceuticals. It is mainly used in the treatment of Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus.

Duration

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of many months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients of BGR 34 Tablet:
Each coated tablet of 620 mg contains:
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 1150mg
Vijaysar – Pterocarpus marsupium – 400mg – Asana, Beejaka, Vijaysar, Indian Kino tree are different names for Pterocarpus marsupium. It is extensively used for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, diarrhea, vitiligo, eczema, psoriasis etc, in Ayurveda.
Gudmar – 400mg
Majeeth – Rubia cordifolia – 375mg
Methika – Trigonella foenum-graecum – 350mg
Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 350mg
Powder of
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 75mg
Vijaysar – Pterocarpus marsupium – 25mg
Gudmar – Gymnema sylvestre 25mg – Madhunashini – Gudmar, is a herb popularly known for its anti- diabetic action and is mentioned in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, renal calculi, cough, snake poison and jaundice.
Majeeth – Rubia cordifolia – 25mg – Manjishta is a famous herb for blood detoxifying. Is root is extensively used in many skin disease medicines of Ayurveda. It is called as Indian Madder in English.
Methika – Fenugreek – 25mg
Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 25mg

Side effects


There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It is usually prescribed in a lower dose during lactation and in children.
Consult your doctor for its usage during pregnancy.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
