Gum Tone Powder is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharmaceuticals. It is the herbal powder for healthy gums.
Gum Tone is a unique formulation of astringents which tightens gums and arrests bleeding.

Indication of Gum-Tone Powder:
Bleeding, spongy and painful gums -gingivitis.
Prevention of plaque formation and dental caries.
Halitosis -bad breath.
Post-scaling to reduce dental pockets.

Mode of usage

Direction for use of Gum-Tone Powder:
Massage 2-3 g of Gum-Tone Powder with soft brush of finger on gums and teeth and to be kept for 2-3 min in the morning and after dinner.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of Gum-Tone Powder:
Each 100 g contains –
Rumi mastaki – Pistacia lentiscus – 0.535 mg – Rumi Mastagi – Pistacia lentiscus gum resin is used for its medicinal properties. It is an aphrodisiac and useful in liver disorders, burn wounds, gum bleeding, etc.
Morthuthu  – 0.850 mg
Laksha – Laccifer lacca – 1.430 mg
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 1.430 mg

Chalk  – 2.860 mg
Khadira – Acacia catechu – 3.430 mg
Mundi – Sphaeranthus indicus – 3.430 mg – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of pain, localized swelling, indigestion, headache, cough, elephantiasis, goiter, skin diseases and to improve the sexual vigor.
Apamarga – Achyranthes aspera – 3.430 mg
Jayapala – Croton tiglium – 3.430 mg
Upersari – Hemidesmus indicus – 3.430 mg
Vibhitaki – Terminalia bellerica – 5.400 mg
Shatapatri – Rosa damascene – 5.400 mg
Badam – Prunus amygdalus – 5.400 mg

Vajradanti – Barleria prionitis – 5.400 mg
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 5.400 mg
Tailaparni – Eucalyptus globulus – 2.850
Karpura – Cinnamomum camphora – camphor – 1.800 mg
Thymol – 0.400 mg
Menthol – 0.250 mg
Panchangakwatha– 17.000 mg

Do’s and don’ts

Do’s:-
Brush the teeth both in the morning and at bed time.
Brush the teeth after each meal or consumption of sweets.
Maintain clean oral hygiene.

Don’ts:-
Reduce the consumption of chocolates and sweets.
Consult doctor if there is bleeding of the gums after brushing of the teeth.
Avoid smoking and chewing of tobacco.

Side effects of Gum-Tone Powder:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
This product is meant to be used as tooth powder alone.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
