Godanti Mishran Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Godanti Mishran Tablet is a proprietary Ayuvredic medicine manufactured by Baidyanath Ayurved.  It is an analgesic and antipyretic, useful in the treatment of fever with bodyache.

Dosage

Dosage of Godanti Mishran Tablet:
1-2 tablets thrice a day, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of GodantiMishran Tablet:
Each tablet contains –
Godanti bhasma  – 125 mg – Godanti Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Gypsum. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of headache, Chronic Fever, leucorrhea etc. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.
Shringa bhasma – 62.50 mg – Shring Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine prepared from Deer horn. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of heart burn, gastric pain, abdominal colic, asthma etc. This medicine should only be taken strictly under medical supervision.
Pippalimoola – Piper longum root – 31.25 mg – Apart from its fruit, long pepper root also has immense medicinal value. It is hot, useful in asthma, indigestion, bloating, anorexia etc.
Karpoora – Cinnamomum camphora – 31.25 mg – Camphor is a rare herb which, being coolant, balances Kapha Dosha and reduces fat and cholesterol levels. Camphor used for medicinal use is slightly different than the camphor used in Pooja / Spiritual practices. In the market, you get the edible camphor usually in powder form. Though modern science categorizes it as unsafe for oral consumption, in a very low specified dose, it is useful in certain diseases.

Side effects

Side effects of Godanti Mishran Tablet:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
