Glovin Syrup: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Glovin Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Arar Pharmaceuticals. It is a general tonic. It is a very good nervine tonic. It is made from powerful herbs such as Ashwagandha, Tribulus, Licorice etc.  

Uses

Indications

Indication of Glovin Syrup:
For general debility in post-operative recovery

Dosage

Dosage of Glovin Syrup:
Adults – 10 ml twice a day.
Children – 5 ml twice a day.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ingredients of Glovin Syrup:
Each 10 ml contains –
Shatavari – Asperagus racemosus – 200 mg
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 250 mg
Yastimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 200 mg
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris – 150 mg
Bala – Sida cordifolia – 200 mg

Amalaki – Embelica officinalis – 150 mg
Amrita – Tinospora cordifolia – 100 mg
Manjista – Rubia cordifolia – 150 mg
Chopachini – Smilax china – 200 mg – It is a plant mentioned for the treatment of cancer, syphilis, skin diseases, constipation, urine retention, disease of joint etc.
Brahmi – Hydrocotyle asiatica – 150 mg – Gotu Kola is an ancient Indian herb, used both for culinary and therapeutic purposes. It is called as Mandukaparni in Sanskrit

Side effects

Side effects of Glovin Syrup:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
It is best to avoid it in diabetic patients.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
