Gesari Pills Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Gesari Pills is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form manufactured by Shree Narnarayan Pharmaceuticals. It is an antacid and anti-spasmodic used in the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders. 

Indications

Indication of Gesari Pills:
Anorexia 7 dyspeptic conditions
Acidity
Gas and bilious headache
Indigestion & uneasiness after heavy meals.

Dose and duration of use

Dosage of Gesari Pills:
2-3 pills twice a day after meals.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 33 mg
Vidlavana – salt – 33 mg
Koth gal  – 13.75 mg

Navasadara – Ammonium chloride – 19.25 mg
Pippali – Piper longum – 2.75 mg
Suryakshara  – 16.50 mg
Ajamoda – Ptychotis ajowan – 6.25 mg
Jeeraka – Cuminum cyminum – 35.75 mg

Saindhava lavana – Rock salt – 41.25 mg
Yavakshara – Hordeum vulgare – 11.00 mg
Amchur – Magnifera indica – 13.75 mg
Pudina satva – Mentha piperita – 15.50 mg
Maricha – Piper nigrum – 30.25 mg – Black pepper has not got its well deserving credit. It certainly is not just another spice. It removes toxins conditions, heals, stimulates organs. It is also used as antidote in insect bites. It is one among the three ingredients of very important Ayurvedic medicine – Trikatu.
Nimba satva – Azadirachta indica – 6.25 mg
Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 2.75 mg

Side effects

Side effects of Gesari Pills:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
