Fortege Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Fortege Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Alarsin Pharma. It is an Ayurvedic concept in the management of male infertility. 

Uses

Benefits of Fortege Tablet:
Helps to tone up genito-urinary and neuro-glandular system gradually.
Helps in digestion, assimilation and morning evacuation.
Helps in decongestion of prostate.
Keeps one alert and fresh. Does not create the viscous circle of stimulation, exhaustion, depression which leads to loss of confidence and chronic fatigue.
Breaks up psycho-somatic circles at various points and reduces hyper-excitability of higher and lower sex centers. These factors relieve fatigue and helps normal sex performance.

In females – it helps in treating menopausal syndrome.
Non-hormonal, devoid of side effects.

Indications

Indication of Fortege Tablet:
In males – infertility, oligospermia, functional impotence, poor motility.
In females – menopause syndrome, frigidity, house wife fatigue.
In asthenia
As a geriatric tonic.

Dosage

Dosage of Fortege Tablet:
In asthenia stress & strain – 1-2 tablets 3 times a day for 4-6 weeks.
As a geriatric tonic – 1-2 tablets twice a day.
In males – in functional impotence – 2 tablets thrice a day for 6 months.
In females – 2 tablets twice or thrice a day for 1-6 months.
In male infertility – 2 tablets thrice a day for 3-6 months, or till wife conceives.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Jeevanti – Leptadenia reticulata – 56.50 mg – Jivanti – Leptadenia reticulata is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of fever, urinary infection, improving the eye vision.
Kamboji – Beynia patens – 56.00 mg
Kauncha beeja – Mucuna puriens –  30.00 mg
Shuddha kuchala – Strychnos nuxvomica – 30.00 mg
Samudra sokh beeja – Salvia plebeia – 15.00 mg
Vardhara beeja – Rourea santaloides – 15.00 mg
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 15.00 mg
Vardharamoola – Rourea santaloides – 15.00 mg
Lavanga – Syzygium aromaticum – 7.50 mg
Pippali – Piper longum – 7.50 mg
Vacha – Acorus calamus – 7.50 mg
Maricha – Piper nigrum – 7.50 mg
Shunti  – Zingiber officinale – 7.50 mg
Kankola – Piper cubeba – 7.50 mg – Kankola- Piper cubeba is a herb mentioned in the ayurvedic pharmacopoeia for the treatment of cough, swelling, dysmenorrhea, erectile dysfunction and indigestion. In Ayurveda, it is used as the legal substitute for Musk.
Akarakarabha – Anacyclus pyrethrum – 7.50 mg
Sweta chandana – Santalum album – 4.50 mg
Jatiphala – Myristica fragrans – 4.50 mg
Jatipatra – Myristica fragrans – 3.00 mg
Excipients – q.s.

Side effects

Side effects of Fortege Tablet:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
