Flexy Liniment: Benefits, How To Use, Ingredients, Side Effects

Flexy Liniment is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Green Remedies. It gives relief from musculo-skeletal pain as in case of arthritis, tendoitis etc.  

Indications

Indication of Flexy Liniment:
Inflammatory & painful conditions of joints & muscles
Arthralgia
Degenerative joints
Cartilage injuries
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Bursitis,  
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain

Mode of usage

Direction for use of Flexy Liniment:
Apply 4-5 drops of the liniment & massage gently without applying too much pressure 2-3 times a day.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of Flexy Liniment:
Each 10 ml contains –
Mahanarayana taila – 6.0 ml – is a very famous herbal oil used in Ayurvedic treatment of arthritis, paralysis, and eye diseases.
Gandhapuro taila – Gaultheria fragrantissima – 1.0 ml
Devadaru taila – Cedrus deodara – 0.3 ml
Tailaparni taila – Eucalyptus globulus – 0.5 ml – Eucalyptus oil
Pudina satva – Mentha piperita – 0.2 g – Menthol

Side effects

Side effects of Flexy Liniment:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
This product is meant only for external application. Avoid accidental oral intake.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.

During pregnancy, lactation

If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.

Can this product be applied after steam therapy?
No. Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic principles.
