Femiscan Strong Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Chirayu Pharmaceuticals. It is to maintain and enhance complete womanhood.  It is used for the treatment of painful periods, white discharge, heavy periods etc.

Indication of Femiscan Strong Syrup:
Leucorrhoea – white discharge
Menorrhagia – painful, heavy periods
Dysmenorrhea – painful periods

Habitual abortion
Infertility due to failure of implantation
Genital & pelvic visceral congestion
Uterine inflammation
Cervical erosion
Irregular/excessive bleeding due to IUCD

Dosage

Dosage of Femiscan Strong Syrup:
2 tsp three times a day with milk or water.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Asoka – Saraca indica – 250 mg
Devadaru – Cedrus deodara – 250 mg
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 250 mg
Arjunatwak – Terminalia arjuna – 250 mg
Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa – 125 mg
Vasa – Adathoda vasica – 125 mg
Mocharasa  – Salmalia malabarica – 125 mg
Musta –  Cyperus rotendus – 125 mg
Maricha – Piper nigrum – 125 mg – Black pepper has not got its well deserving credit. It certainly is not just another spice. It removes toxins conditions, heals, stimulates organs. It is also used as antidote in insect bites. It is one among the three ingredients of very important Ayurvedic medicine – Trikatu.
Sweta Chandana – Santalum album – 125 mg
Sarpagandha  – Rauwolfia serpentina – 125 mg – Sarpagandha, also known as Rauwolfia serpentina (Rauvolfia serpentina) or black snakeroot is one of the very important Ayurvedic herbs. It is used in treating high BP, lack of sleep (insomnia) etc.
Gokshura –Tribulus terrestris – 125 mg

Bala – Sida cordifolia – 125 mg
Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides – 125 mg
Indrayava – Holarrhena antidysentrica – 125 mg – Kutaja is a very famous herb used in treating diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome etc. It is used in preparing very common Ayurvedic medicines like Kutajarishta, Kutaj Ghanavati etc.
Kamala – Nymphea stellata – 125 mg
Sariva  – Hemidesmus indicus – 125 mg

Side effects

Side effects of Femiscan Strong Syrup:
There are no known side effects with this medicine
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
