F-Liv Compound Capsule: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

F-Liv Compound Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Dhanwantari Pharmaceuticals (Shri Dhanwantri Herbal). It is a hepato-protective medicine used to treat various liver disorders. It is also a general tonic.

Anemia
General fatigue
Pregnancy
Liver disorders

Dose

Dosage of F-Liv Compound Capsule:
1-2 capsules thrice a day.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of F-Liv Compound Capsule:
Each capsule contains –
Arogyavardhini – 125 mg – Arogyavardhini Vati is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form. It is used in the treatment of liver diseases, fever, skin diseases, etc.
Pravala Pisti –  125 mg – Praval Pishti is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Coral. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of cough, cold, Pitta related diseases etc.
Punarnava mandura – 125 mg
Loha bhasma – 57.5 mg
Triphala churna – 25 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotendus – 7.5 mg
Vidanga – Embelia ribes – 7.5 mg – Vidanga is one of the powerful anti-parasitic herbs of Ayurveda. It is widely used against intestinal worm infestation. Its botanical name is Embelia ribes. It is called False black pepper., because it mimics pepper in appearance.
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 7.5 mg
Pippali – Piper longum – 7.5 mg
Maricha -Piper nigrum – 7.5 mg – Black pepper has not got its well deserving credit. It certainly is not just another spice. It removes toxins conditions, heals, stimulates organs. It is also used as antidote in insect bites. It is one among the three ingredients of very important Ayurvedic medicine – Trikatu.
Rajata bhasma – 5 mg

Side effects

Side effects of F-Liv Compound Capsule:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
