Evanova Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Charak Pharmaceuticals. It is the soya enriched phytoestrogen that tackles peri-menopausal signs, symptoms and sequel. It is a safe alternative in the management of menopausal symptoms. 

Evanova is a safe & effective formulation that provides maximum relief from the multiple menopause symptoms. It is a rich source of iso-flavones provides phyto-estrogenic support.

Ingredients of Evanova Capsule:
Each capsule contains powders & bhasmas of –
Soya extract – 50 mg
Kukkutandatwak bhasma – 50 mg – It is an Ayurvedic medicine made with egg shell. Here egg shell is made into ash (Bhasma) form. It is a rich source of calcium and helpful to improve bone density, naturally.

Abhraka bhasma – Mica Calx – 10 mg – Abhrak Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine, prepared from Mica. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of asthma, urinary disorders, skin diseases etc.
Vanga bhasma – Tin Calx 10 mg
Yashada bhasma – 10 mg
Ashokatwak – Saraca indica – 400 mg – Ashoka is an important Ayurvedic herb used mainly in bleeding gynecological conditions.
Guduchi  – Tinospora cordifolia – 250 mg
Dashamoola – 200 mg – group of 10 roots with anti inflammatory

Amalaki – Embelica officinalis –150 mg
Ashwagandha – Withania somnifera – 150 mg
Shatavari – Asperagus racemosus – 100 mg
Arjunatwak – Terminalia arjuna – 100 mg
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris -100 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotendus – 50 mg
Brahmi – Bacopa monnieri – 50 mg
Shivalingibeeja – Bryonia laciniosa – 20 mg
Yastimadhu – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 20 mg
Jeeraka – Cuminum cyminum – 20 mg – Cumin seeds are known as Jeeraka in Sanskrit. The word is derived from Jeerna – digestion. Hence Jeeraka means that which digests. Cumin seed is very good in treating digestive track disorders.
Jatamamsi – Nardostachys jatamansi – 20 mg

Indications

Indication of Evanova Capsule:
Effective management of peri-menopausal signs, symptoms and sequel.
Surgical menopause after hysterectomy or oophorectomy.

Dose

Dosage of Evanova Capsule:
Peri-menopause – 1 capsule twice a day, preferably with milk to ensure additional calcium intake.
Surgical menopause – Dosage should be increased to 2 capsules twice a day.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s:-
Wear cotton sleep wear to reduce discomfort from night sweats.
Cultivate a routine of physical exercise such as walking in the morning.
Supplement he daily meals with calcium rich products such as curd.
Develop a hobby to keep occupied.

Don’ts:-
Avoid smoking and consumption of alcohol and excess of coffee and tea.
Avoid walking on slippery floors to prevent fall related fractures.
Avoid wearing loose or high heeled foot wear to avoid slipping or tripping.
Avoid taking any medications along with Evanova without doctor’s advice.

Side effects

Side effects of Evanova Capsule:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
