Enteropan Capsule & Syrup are the proprietary Ayurvedic medicines manufactured by Dr.Pralep’s Research Laboratories Ltd. These are used in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.

Ingredients of Enteropan Capsule:-
Each capsule contains extracts of-
Kutaja – Holarrhena antidy sentrica –27 mg
Ativisha – Aconitum heterophyllum – 30 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotendus – 25 mg
Dadima – Punica granatum – 50 mg
Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides – 50 mg
Jatiphala – Myristica fragrans – 15 mg
Dhanyaka – Coriandrum sativum – 40 mg
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 60 mg
Bilva – Aegle marmelos – 100 mg

Enteropan Syrup:-
Each 5 ml contains extracts of –
Kutaja – Holarrhena antidy sentrica – 6.756 mg
Ativisha – Aconitum heterophyllum – 7.5 mg
Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 6.25 mg – It improves lactation, relieves fever, burning sensation, excessive thirst. Commonly known as nut grass, it is also used in treating diarrhea, dyspepsia, herpes and more.
–25 mg – Bael tree is known as Bilva in Sanskrit. It is an ancient Ayurvedic tree with spiritual and medicinal importance. It is extensively described in Indian literature, since Vedic period. It is one among Dashamoola herbs (Group of ten roots).
Dadima – Punica granatum – 12.5 mg
Jatiphala – Myristica fragrans – 3.75 mg
Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides – 12.5 mg
Dhanyaka – Coriandrum sativum – 10 mg
Shunti – Zingiber officinale – 15 mg

Indications

Indication of Enteropan Capsule & Syrup:
All types of diarrhea & dysentery
Reflux esophagitis
Malabsorption syndrome
Irritable bowel syndrome associated with Diarrhoea – IBS0D
Flatulence

Dose

Dosage of Enteropan Capsule:-
1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Enteropan Syrup:-
½-2 tsp 2-3 times a day, or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Side effects

Side effects of Enteropan Capsule & Syrup:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
Syrup is best avoided in diabetes
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
