Diapal Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Diapal Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Dr.Palep’s Medical Research Foundation Pvt. Ltd. It is a multidimensional solution for diabetic patients. 

Diabetes mellitus is becoming common day by day. People in their mid-30s are getting affected by this problem. Improper metabolism, increasing stress levels coupled with obesity is a major issue which is aggravating the problem.

Uses

Benefits of Diapal Tablet:
Diapal reduces blood glucose levels by increasing the peripheral glucose metabolism. Diapal contains Methika, Nimba and Karavellaka which are known to increase insulin sensitivity and cure the insulin resistance issue.

Amalaki reduces cholesterol and controls diabetes. Also it is an excellent anti-oxidant. Shilajitu is also an anti-oxidant which also promotes the functioning of pancreatic cells.

Indications

Indication of Diapal Tablet:
PCOS along with Cap.Gynocare.
Type 2 diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes along with insulin.

Mode of Action

Mode of action of Diapal Tablet:
Protects the beta cells of Islets of Langerhans.
Peripheral glucose metabolism.
Sensitizes tissue action of insulin.
Prevents vascular degeneration.
Controls diabetic neuropathy.
Hepato – proective action.

Dose

Dosage of Diapal Tablet:
1 tablet twice or thrice a day, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Each tablet contains extracts of –
Jambu – Syzygium cumini – 75 mg – Jamun seeds
Meshashringi – Gymnema sylvestre – 75 mg
Karavellaka – Momordica charantia – 75 mg
Haridra – Curcuma longa – 75 mg – Turmeric
Amalaki – Embelica officinalis – 75 mg – Amla – Indian gooseberry
Nimba – Azadirachta indica – 10 mg – neem
Shilajitu – Aspjaltum – 10 mg
Vibhitaki -Terminalia bellerica – 10 mg – Baheda
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – 10 mg – Harad
Asana – Pterocarpus marsupeum – 20 mg
Bilva – Aegle marmelos – 20 mg – Bael root
Gokshura – Tribulus terrestris – 20 mg – Tribulus is known as Gokshura in Ayurveda. It is an ancient herb, used since thousands of years for its immense medicinal qualities. Its botanical name is Tribulus terrestris. Tribulus, in modern day, is used for body building, to relieve diseases of uro-genital system and as an aphrodisiac. It belongs to Zygophyllaceae family.
Methika –Trigonella foenum graecum – 30 mg
Arjuna – Terminalia arjuna – 25 mg – Can you imagine an herb which is anti oxidant, reduces cholesterol, reduces BP and useful in diabetes, all at the same time? – Terminalia arjuna it is.
Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 15 mg – Indian Tinospora
Guggulu – Commiphora mukul – 15 mg

Side effects

Side effects of Diapal Tablet:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
Over dosage may cause lowered blood sugar levels.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.

  1. Some typos: Palep not Pralep.
    Can some precautions or guidelines according to Ayurveda be added, instead of using the same “no known side effects with this medicine” message? what about ama? what about best times of day – bhaisajya sevana kaal. these concepts are guidelines that would help readers.

      Many thanks for the suggestion madam.
      This is just our first round of publishing medicine information. We still have around 1000-1500 more medicines to publish.
