Diagold Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Agrigold Pharmaceuticals. It is used for the treatment of diabetes mellitus.
Indications
Indication of Diagold Capsule:
As an adjuvant with anti-diabetics in type 2 diabetes mellitus.
To prevent complications of diabetes.
Dose
Dosage of Diagold Capsule:
2 capsules twice a day after food, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of Diagold Capsule:
Each capsule contains –
Karavellaka – Momordica charantia – 50 mg – Bitter gourd or Bitter melon, botanically, Momordica charantia is a well known Indian vegetable, useful for the treatment of diabetes, intestinal worms, sin disease, wounds and acts as blood purifier.
Nimba – Azadirachta indica – 75 mg
Jambu – Syzygium cumini – 50 mg
Haridra – Curcuma longa – 40 mg
Daruharidra – Coscinum fenestratum – 50 mg – Daruharidra – Tree turmeric is used in Ayurveda to treat eye disorders, skin disorders with itching, diabetes, urinary tract diseases, etc. This is found in Himalaya and Nepal region.
Triphala – Embelica officinalis, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica – 75 mg
Asana – Pterocarpus marsupeum – 25 mg
Sesbania grandiflora – 25 mg
Meshashringi – Gymnema sylvestre – 30 mg
Dry extract powder equivalent to –
Karavellaka -Momordicacharantia – 20 mg – bitter gourd
Jambu -Syzygiumcumini – 20 mg – Jamun seeds
Meshashringi -Gymnemasylvestre – 20 mg
Haridra -Curcuma longa – 20 mg – Turmeric
Side effects
Side effects of Diagold Capsule:
There are no known side effects with this medicine. Over dosage may cause lowered blood sugar levels.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
