Diabnil Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Prabhat Pharmaceuticals. It is an anti-diabetic drug. It is made by important ingredients such as nutmeg, Shilajit, jamun seeds etc. 

Indications

Indication of Diabnil Capsule:
Diabetes mallitus

Dose

Dosage of Diabnil Capsule:
1 capsule twice a day, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Ingredients of Diabnil Capsule:
Each capsule 500mg contains –
Shuddha shilajitu – Asphaltum – 40 mg
Jatiphala – Myristica fragrans  – 40 mg – Nutmeg  – Jaiphal – Nutmeg is an aphrodisiac, digestive tonic, very useful even with external application in case of headache, useful in cough, cold, asthma and more.
Madhunashini – Gymnema sylvestre  – 50 mg
Karavellaka – Momordica charantia – 50 mg – Bitter gourd, Karela – Bitter gourd or Bitter melon, botanically, Momordica charantia is a well known Indian vegetable, useful for the treatment of diabetes, intestinal worms, sin disease, wounds and acts as blood purifier.
Trivanga bhasma – 50 mg – Trivang Bhasma is an Ayurvedic medicine with herbal and metallic ingredients. It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, urinary tract diseases etc.
Jambu – Syzygium cumini – 100 mg – Jamun seeds
Kapitha phala – Limonia acidissima – 30 mg
Vijayasara – Pterocarpus marsupeum – 25 mg
Abhraka bhasma  – 35 mg
Pravala bhasma  – 35 mg
Makaradhwaja – 35 mg – Makardhwaj Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine, with herbal and mineral ingredients, in powder / tablet form. It is used in Ayurvedic anti aging and aphrodisiac treatment.
Haridra – Curcuma longa – 10 mg – turmeric

Nagavalliswarasa – Piper betle
Methikaswarasa – Tridonella foenum graecum
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata

Side effects

Side effects of Diabnil Capsule:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
Over-dosage may cause lowered blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia). Please stick to the dose prescribed by the doctor.
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
It should be taken under strict medical supervision. Take this medicine only if your Ayurveda doctor has prescribed it to you.
Store in a cool dry place.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time and in the prescribed dose only.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation and in children.
