Cutizin Tablet: Uses, Ingredients, Dose, Side Effects

Cutizin Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Vasu Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. It is an anti-allergic medicine used in treating impetigo, Folliculitis etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Cutizin Tablet:
Each film coated tablet contains extracts of –
Nimba – Azadirachta indica – 40 mg – neem
Khadira – Acacia catechu – 20 mg – Khadira is a very famous skin benefiting Ayurvedic herb. Its botanical name is Acacia catechu and it belongs to Mimosoideae family. A famous Ayurvedic skin tonic – Khadirarishta is prepared with this herb as the main ingredient.
Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 16 mg – Indian tinospora
Manjista – Rubia cordifolia – 8 mg – Manjishta is a famous herb for blood detoxifying. Is root is extensively used in many skin disease medicines of Ayurveda. It is called as Indian Madder in English. It is used in many oral Ayurvedic medicines and in Ayurvedic oils for skin conditions as well.
Daruharidra – Berberis aristata – 8 mg – tree turmeric
Haridra – Curcuma longa – 8 mg – turmeric

Powders of –
Triphala -Embelica officinalis, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia bellerica – 240 mg
Gandhaka rasayana – 120 mg – Gandhaka Rasayana is an Ayurvedic medicine in herbal powder or tablet form. It is used in the treatment of skin diseases, itching, chronic fever, urinary tract disorders etc
Excipients – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Cutizin Tablet:
Allergic skin conditions like – dermatitis, eczema, pruritus, urticarial
Bacterial skin infections
Impetigo, blisters
Folliculitis
Fungal skin conditions like – ring worm, tinea versicolor, athlete foot

Dose and duration of use

Dosage of Cutizin Tablet:
2 tablets twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects

Side effects of Cutizin Tablet:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy.
This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
