Mode of action of Calcury Tablet:
Calcury facilitates the passage of urinary calculi by diuretic, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Pashanabedha, Varuna and Hazal yahood pisti help disintegrate calculi.
By restoring normal bowel movement, Katuki in Calcury normalizes ureteral peristalsis and further facilitates the passage of calculi.
Punarnava has anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties.
Guduchi has anti-inflammatory and immuno-modulatory action.
Ikshumoola and Shileya have diuretic properties.
Gokshura & Varuna in Calcury also maintain crystalloid-colloid balance and prevent recurrence of urinary stones.

Each coated tablet contains powders & bhasmas of –
Gokshura [Tribulus terrestris] – 80 mg
Katuki [Picrorrhiza kurroa] – 80 mg
Shigru [Moringa oleifera] – 75 mg
Hazral yahood pisti – 50 mg
Pashanabheda [Berginia ligulata] – 15 mg
Shilapushpa [Didymocarpus pedicellata] – 10 mg
Punarnava [Boerhaavia diffusa] – 10 mg – It is well known for its diuretic and swelling reducing activities.
Dhanvayasa [Fagonia cretica] – 6 mg
Shuddha shilajitu [Asphaltum] – 6 mg
Palasha kshara [Butea monosperma] – 4 mg- Palashakshara is an Ayurvedic medicine, used in treating heavy menstrual bleeding. It is alkali preparation made with whole plant called Palasha.
Surya kshara [Potassium nitrate] – 4 mg
Yava kshara [Hordeum vulgare] – 4 mg
Ela [Elettaria cardamomum] – 3 mg – Cardamom – relieves abdominal colic pain arising due to kidney and bladder stones.

Urinary calculi

Dose, do’s, don’ts
Dosage of Calcury Tablet: 2 tablets 3-4 times a day.
Preventive dose:
For the old patients of kidney stones who fear recurring of stones – as a preventive dose, calcuri tablet can be taken in a lower dose of 1 tablet in the morning after food for 1 – 2 months time, or as advised by your doctor.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Do’s:-
Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Consume white variety of pumpkin and gourd.
Horse gram, mung, wheat, barley and ginger juice is recommended.
Stay indoor in summer/hot days.
Don’ts:-
Avoid fried & spicy food.
Reduce the consumption of beans, pulses, lady finger and tomatoes.
Avoid suppression of natural urge of urination.
Avoid sedentary life style.

Research on Calcury
Calcury tablet along with many other herbo-mineral compounds were studied for safety through neurobehavioral activity and oxidative stress in rats. The results concluded that no adverse effects were observed. (1)

My condition is hydronephrosis caused by uti and my ct scan revealed that it was renal stones. My doctor prescribed calcury for two months. How long would it take for the stones to come out
Depends on size of stones. Generally 1 – 2 months time.
2 tablets 2 times a day after food, can be continued for 2 months time.

Hi, I’m 48 yrs and my CT scan revealed I have Kidney stones in my right kidney less than 0.5cm, and now taken Calcury for 62 days once a day. Shd I increase it to twice a day for better results?
The stone might have already passed in urine. an X ray can be done to check it.
