Babe Kof Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Arya Pharmaceuticals. It is the paediatric cough care syrup, also useful in flu.

Each 5 ml contains-
Yastimadhu [Glycyrrhiza glabra] – 200 mg – Licorice benefits are known to Indians since thousands of years. Its Sanskrit name is Yashtimadhu. It is one of the most commonly used Ayurvedic herbs. In almost every Indian household, you might find this herb chewed, whenever someone’s voice has gone down.
Vasa [Adathoda vasica] – 150 mg
Tulasi [Ocimum sanctum] – 150 mg
Kantakari [Solanum xanthocarpum] – 75 mg
Musta [Cyperus rotendus] – 75 mg
Aragwadha [Cassia fistula] – 75 mg
Karkatakashrungi [Pistacia integerrima] – 25 mg
Pudina [Mentha piperita] – 15 mg
Apamarga [Achyranthes aspera] – 15 mg
Jatamamsi [Nardostachys jatamansi] – 15 mg
Pippali [Piper longum] – 25 mg
Ativisha [Aconitum heterophyllum] – 25 mg
Dalchini [Cinnamomum zeylanicum] – 15 mg
Lavanga [Syzygium aromaticum] – 15 mg – Clove is an important Ayurvedic spice, used both for culinary and therapeutic purposes. Its botanical name is Syzygium aromaticum. It belongs to Myrtaceae family. Interesting fact about clove is, though it is hot to taste, it is cooling and soothing to stomach.
Katphala [Myrica nagi] – 50 mg
Navasagara [Ammonium chloride] – 15 mg
Tankana [Borax] – 15 mg
Peppermint – 2.5 mg
Madhu [Honey] – 750 mg

Indication of Babe Kof Syrup:
Coryza
Nasal catarrh
Cough
Flu
Dose, duration of use
Dosage of Babe Kof Syrup:
½- 1 tsp with warm water, or as directed by your Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
This product is not suitable for people with diabetes.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
