Acidon Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shree Dhanwantari Herbals. It is beneficial in ulcerative gastritis condition.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Acidon Tablet:
Each coated tablet
Amalaki [Embelica officinalis] – 50 mg
Kamadudha rasa – 50 mg – Kamadugha ras, an Ayurvedic tablet is used for treating gastritis, headache, burning urination, fever and bleeding disorders etc. Usually, this medicine is suffixed as Muktayukta or Mouktikayukta. This is to indicate the presence of Mukta pishti in this medicine (Pearl calx). T
Lauha bhasma – 50 mg
Suthashekhara rasa – 50 mg – Sutshekhar Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet or powder form. It is used in the treatment of dyspepisa, gastritis, vomiting, abdominal pain etc.
Yastimadhu [Glycyrrhiza glabra] – 50 mg
Avipattikara churna – 250 mg

Indication
Indication of Acidon Tablet:
- Gastric ulcer
- Duodenal ulcer
- Dyspepsia
- Reflux oesophagitis
Dose
Dosage of Acidon Tablet:
- Dyspepsia/oesophagitis- 2 tablets 4 times a day for 1 full week.
- Hyperacidity- 2 tablets thrice daily for 1 week.
- Gastritis- 2 tablets twice daily for 1-2 months, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
