Composition
Composition of Scurfol Topical:
Each 10 ml contains-
- Doorva (Cynodon dactyllon)- 0.5 g
- Dhattura (Datura metel) – 0.5 g
- Nimba (Azadirachta indica)- 2 g
- Shuddha gandhaka (Purified sulphur)- 2.5 g
- Tila taila (Sesamum indicum)- 7 ml
Gandhaka is used extensively in many skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis. Neem is a very effective anti bacterial and useful to skin disorders.
Direction for use
Direction for use of Scurfol Topical:
Apply Scurfol to the scalp in adequate quantity and rinse well and then wash. Though Scurfol reduces dandruff within single application, it is advisable to use every alternate day for 2 weeks followed by twice a week as a maintenance therapy to avoid relapse.

Both are similar. Atrisor is more useful in psoriasis. Scurfol for dandruff.
