Scurfol Topical Benefits, How To Use, Ingredients

Scurfol Topical is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Atrimed Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. It is an effective remedy for dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis. 

It is effective from the very first application, non-sticky and easy to wash.

Scurfol is an instant remedy for dandruff specially formulated with safe and effective herbs.
Scurfol lotion reduces scaling, itching and inflammation from the very first application.
It acts against the fungus [Malassezia furfur] associated with dandruff and there by offers complete relief.

  • Scurfol facilitates keratolysis; removes dead skin cells and controls dandruff.
  • Scurfol is highly effective in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis and scalp psoriasis.

  • Dandruff

Composition

Composition of Scurfol Topical:
Each 10 ml contains-

  • Doorva (Cynodon dactyllon)- 0.5 g
  • Dhattura (Datura metel) – 0.5 g
  • Nimba (Azadirachta indica)- 2 g
  • Shuddha gandhaka (Purified sulphur)- 2.5 g
  • Tila taila (Sesamum indicum)- 7 ml

Gandhaka is used extensively in many skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis. Neem is a very effective anti bacterial and useful to skin disorders.

Direction for use

Direction for use of Scurfol Topical:
Apply Scurfol to the scalp in adequate quantity and rinse well and then wash. Though Scurfol reduces dandruff within single application, it is advisable to use every alternate day for 2 weeks followed by twice a week as a maintenance therapy to avoid relapse.

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
For external application only.
