Respikot tablet is a formulation based on Dashamulakatutrayadi Kwatham described in Sahasrayogam for managing different types of respiratory ailments.

It is a formulation for managing different types of respiratory ailments.
The unique herbal combination provides bronchodilatory action and thus improves lung function.
The antioxidants at optimum levels controls cough and cold and protect against allergic bronchospasm.
The ingredients in Respikot provide expectorant and mucolytic action and improve over all respiratory health.
It functions as an immune-modulator that helps in desensitization against allergens.

Kashmari (Gmelina arborea)- root- 0.266 g
Patala (Stereospermum colais)- root- 0.266 g
Shyonaka (Oroxylum indicum)- root- 0.266 g
Agnimantha (Premna corymbosa)- root- 0.266 g
Shaliparni (Desmodium gangeticum)- root- 0.266 g
Prishniparni (Uraria picta)- root- 0.266 g
Brihati (Solanum indicum)- root- 0.532 g
Gokshura(Tribulus terrestris)- fruit- 0.266 g
Krishna (Piper longum)- fruit- 0.888 g
Nagara (Zingiber officinale)- rhizome- 0.888 g

Dose
Dosage of Respikot Tablet:
1 tablet thrice daily, or as directed by the physician
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Why are these preservatives added to Ayurvedic medicines? Aren’t they harmful?
Permitted perservatives are added to tablets, herbal decoctions, syrups etc to increase the shelf life. They are safe when added in permitted proportions.
