Speciality

Speciality of Erandadi Guggulu –
Erandadi Guggulu is one of the best medicines available for effectively combating Rheumatoid arthritis, swelling and inflammation and neurological diseases, degenerative diseases and musculoskeletal diseases.

All these painful conditions are caused by vitiated Vata and this compound on the virtue of its strong Vata alleviating property will destroy these diseases.

The ingredients also have property of deepana (appetite enhancing) and pachana (ama destroying property). Thus the compound rectifies the agni (digestive errors) and corrects the metabolic errors.

Ama (immature nutrients in circulation which by their virtue of stickiness tend to block the channels of the body, thus depleting the nutrients and essential substances to the tissues and organs of the body) is the chief culprit in the causation of many systemic disorders and autoimmune disorders including Rheumatoid Arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases.

The blocks created by Ama should be removed and ama should be expelled in order to get these diseases under control, to get rid of them and also to prevent their recurrence.

There are many herbs in the combination which effectively combat ama (pachana) and rectify digestion and metabolic process (deepana) Example, Musta, Deepyaka, Panchakola (Pippali, Pippalimula, Chavya, Chitraka and Shunti) etc

Next step in the process is to eliminate and expel (flush) off the ama, ama-visha (endotoxins formed in the cells due to the chronic effect of ama), mala (systemic and tissue excreta) from the body so as to protect its cells and tissues and enable soft functioning, to help avoid relapses and re-establish health and immunity.

You need highly effective herbs in the combination which can flush off these toxins and this purpose is satisfied by the presence of herbs like Erandamula, Katuka, Aragwadha, Gokshura etc.

Source of infection and contamination in the cells, the cell debris and other contaminants are combated by the anti-infective, anti-microbial and detoxification properties of Vidanga, Haridra, Daruharidra etc

In most of these musculo-skeletal diseases, Vata is one of the chief culprits. We need to control Vata to avoid the pathological stages of these diseases from extending to the ‘point of no return’ before they affect severe damage in the body cells and organs. The effective Vata alleviating herbs of the likes of Eranda, Sahachara, Devadaru, Bala, Vriddhadaru, Guggulu etc will take care of the morbid Vata.

After the disease or pathological condition has been effectively aborted, the key issue will be to prevent the recurrence of these conditions by providing long standing and long-acting immune-modulators, anti-ageing, disease-modifying, strengthening and rejuvenating medicines (Rasayanas, Balyas etc).

The medicines in the formulation like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Bala, Guggulu, Devadaru, Punarnava, Pathya, Guduchi will effectively render their services in this perspective.

The other herbs will help in enhancing the comprehensive disease alleviating and immunity modifying property of the compound. Thus Erandadi Guggulu is a wholesome recipe for Amavata and other Vata disorders.
