UVA Acnovin Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Vasu Healthcare pharmaceuticals, Vadodara, Gujarat. Acnovin syrup purifies impurities in blood and is helpful for healthy and glowing skin.

As per Ayurveda these are caused due to impurities in blood. Major factors leading to impurities in blood are sedentary life style, pollution, stress, improper digestion and nutritional deficiencies. Ingredients

Ingredients of UVA Acnovin Syrup:
Manjista (Rubia cordifolia)- best herbal purifier and complexion enhancer- 40 mg.
Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus)- best herbal purifier, used in treatment of chronic skin disorders- 50 mg.
Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- antibacterial activity, very effective in treating pimples, prevents scars- 30 mg.
Haridra (Curcuma longa) – Turmeric – helps to heal and prevent dry skin, treat acne and blackheads. Improves skin complexion, gives natural glow- 15 mg.
Kumari (Aloe vera)-has astringent activity, prevents over production of the oil glands and rapidly controls symptoms of acne, redness, swelling and flaky skin- 100 mg.
Nimba (Azadirachta indica)– has antibacterial properties effective against bacteria causing acne. It has moisturizing and anti-inflammatory properties that helps reduce inflammation of skin- 25 mg.
Aragwadha (Cassia fistula) – 80 mg.
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula)- 100 mg.
Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia)- 40 mg.
Khadira (Acacia catechu) – 35 mg.
Vibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica)- 25 mg.
Amalaki (Embelica officinale)- 25 mg.
Flavoured syrup base- q.s.
Colour – Ponceau 4 red

Indication of UVA Acnovin Syrup:
Acne vulgaris
Pimples
Blemishes
Blackheads
Chaffed skin
Boils.

Dose

Dosage of UVA Acnovin Syrup:
2 teaspoon full 2-3 times a day.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Tips for healthy skin:
Cover your face before going outside to protect your skin from direct sun light and pollution.
Wash your face 4-5 times a day.
Take plenty of water as water keeps skin hydrated and young looking.

Intake of antioxidants is recommended.

It is best to take this medicine under medical supervision.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a dry cool place.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
