Respicare Tablet Uses, Dose, Ingredients

Respicare Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by BACFO pharmaceuticals, Noida- New Delhi. It is used in the treatment of respiratory allergies. 

Air pollution often attacks the nasal, throat and bronchial air ways resulting in frequent infection and complications. Highly toxic gas molecules, suspended particulate matters (SPM) and allergens in air lead to frequent or persistent cold, running nose, nasal block, throat irritation, wheezing and difficulty in breathing.

Use of Respicare Tablet:

  • It is formulated to overcome the hazards caused due to respiratory allergies.
  • It ensures quick relief and prevents reoccurrence of respiratory problems.
  • It can be used by all age groups.

Composition

Composition of Respicare Tablet:

  • Pushkaramoola (Innula racemosa)– 75 mg –  used in the treatment of heart diseases, respiratory diseases like asthma, bronchitis, cough etc.
  • Vamshalochana (Bambusa arundenacea)- 50 mg
  • Pippali (Piper longum)- 50 mg
  • Karkata shringi (Pistacia integerrima)- 50 mg
  • Maricha (Piper nigrum)- 40 mg
  • Holy Basil – Tulasi (Ocium sanctum)– 25 mg
  • Yastimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra)- 25 mg
  • Ginger – Shunti (Embelica officinale)– 20 mg- Ginger is useful in indigestion, asthma, nausea and more.
  • Gul banafsa (Viola odorata)– 15 mg – used in treating cough, asthma, fever with burning sensation, bodyache etc. It is used as an ingredient in many herbal cough syrups. One of its chemical components – Cycloviolacin O2 has anti-cancer potential.
  • Thalisapatra (Abbies webbiana)- 15 mg
  • Vrihadela (Amomum subulatum)- 10 mg
  • Khanda sharkara (Crystal sugar)- 125 mg

Indication

Indication of Respicare Tablet:
General and pollution induced respiratory allergies (allergic bronchitis, catarrh, sinusitis, pharyngitis, rhinitis)

Dose

Dosage of Respicare Tablet:
1-2 tablets twice a day preferably with luke warm water, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
