Uteratone Syrup Uses, Dose, Ingredients

Uteratone syrup soothes cramps due to premenstrual and menstrual period. It is an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine manufactured by Bipha Drug Laboratories, Kottayam. 

About 50 % of women experience some degree of pain and discomfort associated with the menstrual cycle. Sometimes pain, irritating physical and psychological symptoms including head ache, back ache, tummy ache, tender breasts, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, tension, clumsiness, depression, irritability which can even lead to violence, depression, food scaring, greasy skin etc. Normal periods are a sign of healthy functioning f the female body and reproductive system.

Uteratone is a unique combination found effective to control menstrual irregularities. Uteratone is formulated with effective and safe indigenous drugs to stimulate the uterus and to make contractions more frequent without any side effects.

The sedative property of Asoka and Viburni is carefully balanced to combat menorrhagia and other pains connected with urogenital system of women. Uteratone is formulated in a very pleasant base comprising of Dashamoola extract which is an excellent tonic for all feminine complaints and general debility.

Uses of Uteratone Syrup:

  • Proven herbal remedy to promote female hormonal balance.
  • Stimulate FSH along with raise in the levels of LH, hence improves ovarian functions.
  • Soothes cramps and aches related to premenstrual and menstrual period.
  • Tonic for female reproductive organ which helps in discharge from genital organs and helps for excessive bleeding during menstruation.
  • Reduce frequency and intensity of contraction of uterus, thus reduces the probability of habitual abortion.
  • Effective therapy in prompt restoration of ovarian functions and treating PCOS and fertility related problems.
  • Supplements essential nutrients like iron, calcium etc for health improvement.
  • Indicated in menorrhagia, metrorrhagia, post-partum haemorrhage, dysmenorrhea, primary amenorrhoea, osteoporosis, leucorrhoea and in heavy bleeding which can lead to anemia. It is also prescribed in polyps in cervix, pelvic inflammatory diseases, endometriosis, dysfunctional uterine bleeding and poly cystic ovary syndrome.

Ingredients

Ingredients & Composition of Uteratone Syrup:

Each 8 ml contains-

  • Lodhra – Symplocos racemosa liquid extrct-1.561 ml- bark is considered as cooling and mild astringent.it is recommended in menorrhagia.
  • Ashoka (Saraca asoca) – liquid extract-0.789 ml- is a strong astringent. It acts directly on the muscular fibres of uterus. It has a stimulating effect over the endometrium and ovary, and it is also a uterine sedative.
  • Dashamoola –liquid extrct-0.394 ml- dashamoola are widely used for fever, general debility, menstrul disorders, giddiness etc. it is a known tonic for body and mind.
  • Extract of Alstonia liquid- 0.394 ml.
  • Extract of Viburni liquid- 0.164 ml.

Dose

Dose:

8 ml thrice a day or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Presentation & Storage:

  • Bottle of 200 ml.
  • Should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Shelf life:

3 years from the date of manufacture.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
    Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
