Pranada Tablet Uses, Dose, Ingredients

Pranada treats dropsy, hydropsy and scarring of the liver. It is nothing but Gomuthra Haritaki of Astanga Hridaya Mukharoga Prathisheda. It is an Ayurvedic proprietary medicine manufactured by Bipha Drug Laboratory, Kottayam. 

Uses

Uses of Pranada Tablet:

  • Effectively reduces fluid accumulation in the inflammatory sites.
  • Offers therapeutic effectiveness with patient convenience.
  • Removes exudates from inflammatory site with least fluid electrolyte imbalance.
  • Yields best results as a co-therapy with anti-arthritic and diuretic drugs.
  • Used in all types of inflammation, anaemia, dropsy, cirrhosis of liver and spleen.

Composition

Composition of Pranada Tablet:

  • Extract of Gomutra Haritaki 250 mg – Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – Chebulic myrobalan fruit rind is processed with Gomutra – cow urine.
  • Excepients q.s.

Dose

Dose:

2 tablets twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Presentation & Storage:

  • Bottle of 90 tablets.
  • Should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
